Melquiades new features
We are glad to announce the new features that are available for all Melquiades users already: the Melquiades API and the Advanced Search iterface
During last few months we have been working on improving the performance and the site's data accessibility. Past releases showed a lack of friendly search based on certain criteria, and for this reason, we decided to create an API and a search interface that solved this issue.
Melquiades API allows to get all the data that are currently stored in the website with simple queries. Using some filters such as the available repositories or available dumps of a project you will obtain the data that you need. These data are also available in several formats: HTML, XML or JSON.
For a full description of this API please visit the API section of the Melquiades wiki.
Stay tuned. During next weeks we will add more features like RSS channels and some interfaces for visualizing data.
