If you visit http://edukalibre.org/software you should find three main novelties:

• Conversion Tools: Which includes a set of tools to make document conversions from and to different formats.
• Collab: Which serves as a front-end for the user-friendly interaction with the system.
• Repository Manager: Which stores documents and makes conversion to and from various document formats.

We encourage you all to try and install the software. If any of you meets difficulties doing so, please let us know and we will do our best to fix any problem. In fact, and despite today we are announcing a new complete release, our plan is to keep an eye on this release liberation at least until Friday 28. In the meanwhile is possible that newer versions appear fixing bugs and completing things.

If you prefer to try just one part of the software, for example if you want to install you own Collab but don't want to cope with the Repository Manager, you can tell us and we would prepare a Repository which you could use in your tests.

You can even try it without installing anything. Just ask for it and we will prepare a Repository + Collab pack for you to use it in any course you have or whatever. In that case, we would need you to send us user names and passwords since this new version deals with basic authentication.
